In her former career, Wendy’s workday might have included helping a Fortune 500 exporter structure financing competitive enough to win a contract to build a subway in Venezuela. Today, you’re more likely to find her helping a Barron’s list wirehouse team navigate the due diligence process, to determine whether the business is best suited at a major wirehouse or in the independent space.
This former Royal Bank of Canada Trade Finance Manager noted that her career journey has been much like that of many of the financial advisors with whom she works. While she describes it as “an evolution”, the heart of what she does is still rooted in a highly consultative approach. She is vested in building long term relationships and getting to know an advisor’s unique business, key drivers and goals. This approach, paired with extensive industry knowledge and access through the entire landscape, allows her to provide highly customized guidance and solutions to advisors. With a BA from Colgate University, and an MBA from New York University Leonard N.
