Leaders: Do You Challenge Your Status Quo?

Periodically, all leaders need to take a fresh look at what they do, how they do it and why they do it. In other words, they need to challenge their leadership status quo .Some leaders become so caught up in their own strategies and methods that they have great difficulty breaking free or letting go of what they have become very comfortable doing.   • Why does my job exist; what is the purpose of my role?
  • What are the outcomes I must achieve?
  • How do I contribute to my company’s performance and growth?
  • What value do I create for the company and its customers?
  • And finally, what value do I create or bring to my team?
  • Are you the type of leader you would work for? If you cannot work for you, why should anyone else? It’s important that you create a work climate where others will want to work for and with you. Employees are looking for someone who leads, someone who is clear and confident about where they are taking the company and is able to make them feel that they are making an important contribution.People want to work for a leader who holds himself to the same high standards to which he holds his team.
